Spirit and soul.
It is said that when we die we enter into Heaven ‘body
and soul’. When we die our spirit leaves the physical body and
the body looses its animation, all the organs cease working, and
the body is dead. The spirit has left the body but the spirit is
immortal and still lives on.
The ego dies with the body. When a person has a limb
removed they still experience what is called ‘the phantom
limb’. Though the limb no longer exists they can still
experience the sensation that it is still there and even
experience pain in that limb. If the energy is recorded around
where that limb had been the apparatus used for such a
recording will also register the presence of this phantom limb.
Though the physical limb has been removes it still appears to
exist at some other energy level. Could this be the soul of that
limb?
The soul body is a replica of the physical body and can
be seen to survive death. When the physical body dies the spirit
and soul survive. It is this soul body that we experience when
we ‘see’ spirit that is recognisable as a relative or somebody
