Spirit – Releasing the Light Within



                            A Relaxation Technique.

               There are many techniques used for relaxation. This is one I
               use and find it effective:-

                   o  Make sure you are sitting comfortably in your chair
                       as described in the previous chapter.
                   o  Allow a few moments for your mind to settle.
                   o  Take note of your breathing.
                   o  Take a deep breath, breathing in slowly.
                   o  Hold that breath for a few seconds, then breath out
                       slowly.
                   o  Allow your breath to continue this rhythm for a few
                       moments.
                   o  Allow your eyes to close.
                   o  Breathe slowly and deeply.
                   o  Become aware of a light forming above your head.
                   o  With  your  eyes  still  closed,  breathing  slowly  and
                       deeply, feel the energy coming from that light.
                   o  With every ‘in’ breath draw the energy from the light
                       in through your crown chakra, and feel it flush down
                       through your body, flowing down your arms and out
                       through  your  fingers,  flowing  down  through  your
                       body,  down  through  your  legs,  through  your  feet,
                       and out through your toes.
                   o  With the ‘out’ breath feel the energy flushing out any
                       negativity from your body and mind.
                   o  Tense your face and neck muscles, hold the tension
                       for a moment and then release them.
