Spirit is a great facility and to be able to heal by the power of the
Great Spirit is the greatest facility given to mankind. We can read the
biographies of various medicine men and learn from their ways.
Very little trace of this aspect of natural indigenous
spirituality exists in western cultures these days, and it is only by
studying the ways of those cultures that still remain in touch with their
roots, that we can relocate our own ways. There is no need to fear that
the God we seek in this manner is any different to the God of our
chosen orthodoxy. There is only one God. As a spiritual
healer/medicine man it is this God that we turn to for the healing that
we seek to channel. The God of all, the good and the bad, all that
crawl, walk or fly, the two legged and the four legged, the stone
kingdom, the plant kingdom, the air, the sky, the earth and what is
upon it and beneath it, God of all.
