through ignorance, and good healing through good channelling.
It is not within the guidelines for this chapter that time should
be spent going into each therapy or indeed into any therapy in any
detail, other than spiritual healing. There are those who know much
more on these matters than I, and therefore I would leave it to them to
share their knowledge at another time.
Spiritual healing comes to us from the past. As long as man
has been, there has been spiritual healing. You will remember that I
earlier briefly mentioned the historic outline of Spirit. As long as there
was Spirit, and man with an awareness of Spirit, then there was also a
requirement for healing, healing of the Spirit, healing for the Spirit,
spiritual healing.
Perhaps one of the most precise accounts, (at least that I am
aware of), of pre-history existence, is the history that has been passed
on by the Hopi Indians in America. They speak of four worlds, this
being the fourth. Their history is a record of their path through these
worlds, following the guidance of various Spirit deities.
The Hopi tell us that the Great Spirit created this earth and
placed on it all creatures and the means for their support. They also
tell us of the Great Spirit putting man on the earth and providing him
with all that he should need. It is easy to follow this account of the
emergence of man on earth, with an understanding of the first
experiences these initial inhabitants had of illness, (let us ignore the
cause at this stage). Their first reaction would have been to invoke the
help of the Spirit they held responsible for their being on the earth in
the first place, the Great Spirit, perhaps best identified in Christian
terms as the Holy Spirit.
As the Great Spirit had provided them with all they needed,
including access to the Supreme, there is no doubt that with this
Spirit/man relationship, this call for help would not have been ignored
and healing would have taken place. So, it is a reasonable hypothesis
