Spiritual Healing.

Perhaps one of the most astounding phenomenon of this age
is the interest in, and the need for, spiritual healing. It is not a
phenomenon, though many regard it as such. No, the phenomenon is
only associated with the peripheral backwash in the wake of the
healing that takes place.
The healer can, and often does, get caught in the wake of a
healing but needs to realise that an understanding of this situation is
required if the healer is to survive it. Like any wake behind anything,
or in this analogy behind a ship, one finds a flurry of treacherous
whirlpools and currents that if not understood properly can catch the
unwary and can consume them, can drown them.
Spiritual healing is not a phenomena nor the healer powerful.
All glory for healing in a spiritual healing manner must be reserved
for God, The Great Spirit, The Holy Spirit. The healer is entitled to
take thanks for giving of his time, for his commitment and facility,
nothing else. As I have said earlier the healer is only a channel and the
key to this channel is in the detachment of the healer.
I discussed earlier the history of spiritual healing and broadly
how it works, it is interesting when we come to talk on the subject of
spiritual healing that so little can be said about the essence of it.
Again it is important to realise that in essence, spiritual
healing is entirely a spiritual matter and has in fact very little to do
with you or I. It is also important to realise that it is a natural facility
extended from the Great Knowing to those earth-incarnated spirits
who have a need in that particular area. It could be said that in effect
spiritual illness is the major cause of physical illness.
