bleak if the adults around them don’t try and understand that
this is the result of their spiritual ignorance and lack of
support for this child. This is not to blame anybody involved
but to highlight one of the potential outcomes of the effect the
lack of spiritual awareness has on good but spiritually
ignorant people.
The real solution to the dilemma of bullying is to first to
remove the label. Remember this child has had no guidelines
that it can trust. It might have had instructions on "not too"
but no instruction on "why not too". The have also often been
exposed to punishing authority, which is just a different way
of saying that they have been bullied by those in their lives
who are in authority. Often this child will try and exercise its
authority over others but especially those who appear weaker
and less confident. We have said earlier that the well balanced
child will appear confident and therefore will not be a target
for bullying. On the other hand the bully will feel threatened
by the well balanced child and sometimes might even seek
their protection or to protect them. We must teach our
children to have compassion and a great way of doing this is
to teach them to understand. Another lesson for us to teach
our children is compassionate detachment so that they can
listen and see without involvement, and maintain an objective
stance. Should our child be well balanced, even at the age of
six, it will know whether to stay or walk away. This choice is
only there for them should they be uninvolved. It is a common
ploy for the aggressor to ask ones opinion and on receiving it
use it as an excuse to attack. This is where what starts as a
