appear to offer Divinely inspired solutions but instead only
offers materialistic based solutions. In these applications there
is no justice nor understanding. The reasoning suits the
society not the Spirit. So too with our seven year old child,
they too will be impressed by the wisdom of Soloman but
only because their ego is impressed. They will not question
the illustration any further unless they bring in their Spiritual
nature to the situation and consider the situation on a broader
basis. Too often the spiritually balanced seven year old will be
ridiculed for their questioning outside the social boundaries.
They will experience derision and be labelled by the those
they challenge by their questions. The challenged will be the
majority of the population they encounter and as a
consequence the child will often feel a social outcast, When
society challenges this child they will too often be
unsupported in their views and for survival acquiesce to the
opinions of the spiritually underdeveloped. This will further
suppress their nature and they can become socially
dysfunctional. As adults, if we are to consider ourselves in
any way spiritually aware then, this point we are making here
needs to be addressed, especially when we encounter
situations where this difficulty is apparent. If we are to be
spiritually sensitive we will need to make our awareness
obvious and in turn challenge the spiritual ignorance that is
perpetrating this “crime” against our children. This challenge
we present will not be popular to the ignorant and therefore
will attract an ignorant response. Should we balk at the fear of
this response then it shows we are not as spiritually aware as
we thought and that our opinions are challengable and lack the
strength of our own truth, our own spiritual awareness, and
indeed our own trust in God. To be spiritual is to be fearless.
