this plan are not unforeseeable, and therefore not at any great
variance with any path that the Spirit might have chosen. The
life plan is not rigid, nor to be adhered to without fully
analysing the possible prospects resulting from each choice
made. Each step is a step into the unknown and a step forward
in spiritual development. How can any choice made be a
mistake if this is the case? Each step carries a consequence,
the consequence is the lesson learned. There is never any
‘going back’ in a spiritual sense, there is only going forward.
Of course there is also spiritually ‘standing still’, though
spiritually this is impossible as even then there is a lesson to
be learned and the consequential spiritual growth that is
gained from that experience. It is only the ego that doesn’t
benefit from such events in its bodies life. Because the ego,
the ego that ignores its true life force, that ignores its Spirit,
sees life from the pessimistic perspective of humanity these
‘tests’ are seen as ‘trials’. At best the ego sees God as its
adjudicator and the one who apportions all blame and ‘hellish’
consequence on the transgressors. The unaware ego seldom
sees the benefits from the lessons unless they are rewarded
materially for having made the right choice or punished
painfully, emotionally or physically, for making the ‘wrong’
choice. Of course this is not what is the truth in this situation.
Spiritually it is always good, whatever the choice. It is never

punished nor rewarded in a material sense unless the ego
chooses that as it means of arbitration. It doesn’t really matter
to the incumbent Spirit what the ego chooses to do or to think
as the lesson will still be to the Spirit’s benefit. Remember it
is only the ego that lives within the confines of human time
and human terms and conditions, and though the Spirit relies
