            At Work


             Do not use personal email to communicate business related information.

             Do not charge phones by plugging into an unknown USB port, use only wall prong chargers.
             Power off electronic devices when not in use.

             Enable Multi-Factor Authentication for all online accounts, including personal email and
               financial services.
             Be careful when downloading apps that ask for location, access to contacts, photos or other
               personal information, and delete unused apps.
             Update device software; always run system or security updates when prompted.
             Use anti-virus software on all devices, including computers and mobile devices.
             Change default passwords on your home router and cable modem. The most secure router
               setting is WPA2.
             Protect all devices with a password or PIN.
             Use strong passwords that include words, phrases, special characters and numbers, and
               change them on a regular basis. Consider using a passphrase.
             Protect passwords, never write them down or share with others, and use a different password
               for every application or service. Never reuse passwords.
             Delete personal information from old devices before selling or recycling.
             Monitor kids’ online activities know what they post, and what information they share.
             Use caution when posting information, locations, and activities on social media sites.
