components with welding

Welding and Hot Work: Defuel/depressurize fuel
Within Six Feet of the CNG system.

Operate engine to consume
fuel in lines.
Open bleed valve in the
FMM.
Close valves on FMM and all
cylinders.
Check the fuel system and
hot work area for leaks.
Use welding blankets and
shields to cover CNG fuel
system components.
Disconnect and remove CNG
cylinders and fuel lines if
necessary.
