Facing a decline in market relevance, traditional woven fabrics require innovative strategies to remain competitive in today%u2019s fashion industry. Through the design and development of tote and sling bags, this research presents a creative solution that balances cultural identity with functional appeal. Guided by Vinod Goel%u2019s design method, the project involves material selection, motif integration, and prototype creation that emphasizes the visual and symbolic integrity of each fabric. The result is a hybrid product that not only meets current consumer demands but also promotes the cultural narratives embedded in Indonesia%u2019s traditional crafts.
