the MIDC area.
Village has a safe drinking water, televisions, cement
constructed roads and education facility till high school. My
friend and a charismatic leader M.S. Patil is a reason for this
transformation.
Village has a attractive waterfall and a beautiful heritage

temple of Shrikrishna. It is said in Karvir Mahatmya that,
Shrikrishna has lived there for some years. There are certain
remarks of Kadamb Tree, Govardhan Hill, Kaliyamardandoh
and cows carved in stones.

I have faced an accident when I was in 4 standard. I was

admitted in the government hospital for 6 months. My both

arms were badly injured. Left hand has became weak. But
thankfully my life was saved.
I studied in a Marathi medium school at Kadsiddheshwar

high school at Kaneri till 5 to 7 standard. We used to walk
4 kms to reach the school. Later I was shifted to Chipri, tal.
Shirol for the further education from 8th to the fi rst semester
th
of 11 because my elder brother was a gramsevak. Everything
was going well but, I did a mistake unknowingly, and had to
return to Kadsiddheshwar high school at kaneri for further
th
education. Finally, I passed 11 . Became matric in the very
fi rst att empt.
Today’s generation goes to the English medium school in
the neat and clean uniform. They have tremendous pressure
of studies. Their childhood is lost under the pressures. They
have become lonely. The generation gaps between them
and the parents is ever increasing. They neither obey their
teachers nor parents. They are not interested in studies. Books
other than syllabus do not fascinate them.They don’t know
History, Geography and even Civics too. They are not aware

about their social contribution. It is affecting their mental
growth.
Reading is the best tool for overall development of an
individual. Books are proven as the best friends.
