FEAR UNMA S KED

to close their doors due to the coronavirus. This
includes retail stores, hair salons and barbershops,
restaurants and bars, and more. While some
businesses have attempted to survive by allowing
their employees to work from home, it is not working
and it is not sustainable. The level of “half-assery”
going on caused by allowing America’s workers to
work in their distraction-filled homes with little to no

accountability is tremendous. Businesses are losing.
Big time. Even businesses that don’t have to shut
down entirely are affected by lack of revenue; and

and our state and federal government gets to decide
which industries are essential and which ones are not.
In an effort to be safe and precautious, we have
put many people in danger and have compromised
our values as a nation. Our entire economy has been
required to shut down. Now this raises an interesting
question: would you rather have safety or freedom?

The United States was built on the prioritization of
freedom over safety. Of course we want safety, but
not at the expense of a great deal of freedom. As
