Amazon has temporarily suspended its “Fulfillment
by Amazon” shipment program according to
TechCrunch.com. Another area of concern for

Amazon is although necessary items are in more
demand, consumer spending as a whole is trending
down according to a survey completed by Moody’s

Analytics. So even though we are conditioned to

use Amazon for everything AND they are deemed as
an essential business, they too are being impacted.
One sector that historically experiences its most
growth during down economies is the Information
Technology Services sector of the economy. This
sector is made up of companies that support the

technology needs of businesses as opposed to those
companies hiring local staff to complete those
support tasks.
During a down economy, or an economy where
businesses tighten their belts, close locations, lay off
staff, and reduce expenses, one of the largest areas of
expense for a business owner is their payroll. During
a down economy, a business owner still needs to keep
its technology up and running smoothly, but can no

longer afford to pay a staff of two or three people to
keep that technology running, so they begin to reach
out to what is called a Managed Services Provider,
