Patrick Henry said in 1775, ““Give me liberty, or give
me death!”
With the number of shelter at home orders,
business closing directives, and executive orders of
governors, mayors, and city managers telling people
where to go, when they are allowed to be outside
their homes, I can’t help but wonder if the real loser
in this economy is our freedoms, and the winner is
government in the amount of control they are allowed
over our lives and businesses. As George Washington
said, “Government is not reason. It is not eloquence.
It is force. And like fire, it is a dangerous servant and
a fearful master.” 54
