quality-of-life things, such as a town meeting hall, a
schoolhouse, a few larger buildings that could be turned
into indoor markets, and few gardens attached to the
barns. Al, Bernard, Captain Thomas, and Hugh, along
with all of the colonists, had gotten into quite a rhythm,
and had stacks upon stacks of wood, before William
decided that they had done enough.
“Well, we did it,” he said. “We rebuilt the town,
and we rebuilt it better than before if I do say so
myself.The town had been rebuilt and I couldn’t have
done it without y-” He was cut off and he turned ghostly
