“Wha happen’?

“What does it look like! Get off the barrel and

let's get the hell out of here!” Thomas and Al ran to

where Thomas had left Hugh with Bernard. When they

got there, Hugh now had a musket in his hands, ready to

fight.

Now mind you, there was still a battle going on,

which the colonists were badly losing. Hugh then said, “I

am going to have to help in the fight.” He hesitated for a

moment and then charged out to help the colonists.

About 2 hours later, there were bodies

everywhere. The colonists were going to have to

surrender if something did not happen soon, and Hugh

could only imagine what would happen to them if they

lost the battle. Hugh was still fighting, but even he was
