Analisis Konsep Kain Tenun Siak (Songket Melayu Riau) Pada Pembelajaran

Abstrack
This research was carried out with the aim of analyzing the implementation of making Siak woven
cloth (Songket Melayu) with SMP/MT science concept material. Analysis of the implementation of
making Siak woven cloth (Malay songket) uses qualitative research methods to obtain secondary data.
From the results of the research analysis of the implementation of Siak woven cloth making, the
implementation of the science concept material contained therein was obtained. The
implementation in making uis nipes karo woven cloth refers to KD 3.3 classification of materials and
their changes,3.2 classifying plants based on observed characteristics, 3.9 Explaining stress during the
cloth weaving process and 3.10 Analyzing environmentally friendly technological processes and
products for sustainable living. Weaving Malay songket is a handcrafted cloth made using a thread
weaving process interspersed with gold thread or silver thread with a variety of motifs or certain
woven patterns. Siak woven cloth is traditionally made by craftsmen who have been passed down
from generation to generation in weaving families using a "Kek" loom or some call it a gedokan loom.
Apart from using kek looms, currently many Siak woven fabrics are also circulating on the market as
a result of production using non-machine looms (ATBM). ATBM is a traditional loom for making woven
cloth with simple weaves and the movements are carried out by the operator himself or driven by
human power. The decorative motifs in Siak weaving have a variety of shapes in the motifs applied,
including natural types of flora, fauna and names of natural objects.

Absktak
Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembuatan kain tenun Siak
(Songket Melayu) materi konsep IPA SMP/MT. Analisis implementasi pembuatan kain tenun Siak
(songket melayu) ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif untuk memproleh data sekunder. Dari
hasil penelitian analisis imlplementasi pembuatan kain tenun Siak diproleh implementasi materi konsep
ipa yang terkandung didalmnya. Implementasi yang terdapat pada pembuatan kain tenun uis nipes karo
ini merujuk pada KD 3.3 klasifikasi materi dan perubahannya, 3.2 mengklasifikasi tumbuhan
berdasarkan karateristik yang diamati, 3.9 Menjelaskan tegangan pada saat proses penenunan kain dan
3.10 Menganalisis proses dan produk teknologi ramah lingkungan untuk berkelanjutan
kehidupan.Tenun songket melayu merupakan kain hasil kerajinan tangan yang dilakukan dengan
melalui proses menenun benang yang diselingi dengan tenunan benang emas atau benang perak dengan
ragam motif atau corak tenunan tertentu. Kain tenun siak secara tradisional dibuat oleh pengrajin
