5) C glycosides = Aloin - type glycosides
It is a mixture of C-glycosides obtained from different Aloe species.
Aloins are very resistant to hydrolysis, and are not easily oxidized (like other anthrones and
anthranols) to the corresponding anthraquinones.
Barbaloin: The most important representative aloin glycosides,
which is the -C-glucoside of aloe-emodin anthrone.
In addition to chrysaloin, isobarbaloin and some other free anthraquinones
