Conferences

        ALA open house

MIL’s Service Desk team supporting the Office of the Chief
Information Officer (OCIO) at the Library of Congress (LOC)
were called into service to assist with audio/visual (AV) support
for the Library’s American Library Association (ALA) Annual
Conference and Exhibition, which was held from June 20th
through the 25th. MIL’s LOC team was responsible for setting up
and maintaining about 25 display setups covering multiple service
units across the Library for 5,000+ conference attendees to view.
Our AV and configuration team technicians worked into the early
hours of the morning to ensure proper setup of AV equipment,
and helped to make the event a huge success.
Well done and thank you to the OCIO AV team!

Defense, IT, Cyber, and Intel Hiring Fair

On Aug 19th, MIL recruiters and technical staff visited Fort
Gordon, GA to attend the Defense, IT, Cyber, and Intel Hiring
Fair. This latest hiring event is the most recent stop on MIL’s
“traveling roadshow” approach to recruiting top-notch talent in
the cyber field. For the past year, MIL has been targeting major
cyber “hubs” to help us identify and attract prospective staff,
with a special emphasis on former military intelligence and
cybersecurity experts retiring from active duty.
MIL’s recruiting team walked away from the event with the names
and contact information for numerous potential candidates
interested in joining MIL’s rapidly expanding cyber program.
To see what jobs are available in MIL’s Cyber Sector or elsewhere
in the company, visit the Available Jobs page on MIL’s corporate
        website.
