HR realignment
The vision of MIL’s HR team is to be recognized as your business partner, helping to accelerate performance through
collaboration and solutions-oriented services. To ensure that you receive the very best corporate support, we recently realigned
the HR team to work under five functional areas: HR strategy, talent development and performance management, employee
engagement, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.
We are also proud to announce the following promotions:
Danielle Hayes is promoted to Director and will continue to provide subject matter expertise
in the areas of HR operations, compensation & benefits, and HR policies. In her six-year
tenure at MIL, she has been instrumental in leading efforts across the full spectrum of HR
disciplines. Danielle works to support organizational change and design by identifying
business requirements and implementing appropriate solutions.
Sally Beckett-Jeffery, Assistant Vice President, was formerly assigned to lead HR operations
in Charleston. She will now focus on talent development, performance management, and
employee engagement company-wide. Her 12 years at MIL have been spent on improving
customer satisfaction and quality of service through management oversight, project
management, training, project leadership, and process improvement tools.
Glenita “Nita” Mulcahy is promoted to Human Resources Manager. In her three years at
MIL, she has made a major impact in integrating HR processes, programs, and procedures into
operations. Responsible for all compliance reporting, she also adeptly addresses and handles
employee-related issues and concerns. Nita will continue to provide top-notch support for the
Federal Civilian business unit in the DC metro area.
The HR team’s mission is to serve the entire MIL community by providing efficient and effective customer service and human
resources solutions. The team remains committed to improving organizational performance and employee engagement by
building a culture that fosters an environment of inclusion and professional growth. We are confident that this mission will
be achieved under the leadership of these stellar leaders. Congratulations to Danielle, Sally, and Nita, on your well-deserved
promotions!
New & improved managers microsite
MIL managers now have a new and improved tool in their management toolbox! The updated
MILtranet page is designed to serve as a clearinghouse for current guidance, policies, and forms
used daily by MIL managers at all levels. The new page offers resources to help keep managers
informed and to serve as an easily accessible repository to the company’s management assets.
Along with MIL-specific resources such as copies of MIL’s The Leadership Line newsletter
and department-specific documents, the page also offers links to motivational “Ted Talks,”
performance management guidance, information on professional training, and a variety of
other industry tools and resources.
