Rising to the top in South Carolina

MIL is pleased to announce it has earned the 2022 Top Workplaces South Carolina award,
issued by Energage. MIL ranks seventh for mid-sized companies in South Carolina. This
award, which recognized 67 organizations, is designated by three local publications: Greenville
Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly, and Charleston Business Magazine. To date,
MIL has been honored with this award four times.
The Top Workplace list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-
party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner, Energage LLC. The
anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any
organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“At MIL, we are always humbled by these Top Workplace awards, as they come from our most
valuable asset- our employees,” said COO Marisa Daley. “Our South Carolina group, based in
Charleston, are some of the most hard-working, positive, and diligent people around. In a new
era of work-life post pandemic, this team has helped us evolve into new ways of growing and
        thriving as an organization.”
“During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for
organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance,” said Eric
Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate
challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what
works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive
impact on their people and their business.”
The Top Workplaces program has a 14-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees and recognizing the top
organizations across 60 markets for regional Top Workplaces awards. Energage, a purpose-driven organization, develops
solutions to build and brand Top Workplaces.
MIL has received the Top Workplaces Award for the Washington, D.C. area five times and the USA award twice. Under the
        Top Workplaces umbrella, it has received the following Industry and Cultural Excellence Awards: Technology; Appreciation;
Compensation; Employee Value Proposition; Employee Well-Being; Empowering Employees; Formal Training; Professional
Development; Top managers; and Work Life Flexibility.
