We are pleased to announce another Rapid Engineering and Prototyping Solutions (REPS) sector
award! As a subcontractor to ManTech Advanced Systems International, Inc. (ManTech), MIL was
a part of the winning team competing for the Nation Capitol Region contract to support the Naval
Air Warfare Center Webster Outlying Field (NAWC WOLF) Special Communications Mission
Solutions (SCMS) Division. This recompete contract provides support to the Senior Executive
Communications, Continuity of Operations Plan, and Continuity of Government systems, as well
as drive protection, interagency, public safety, and consequence management situational awareness
communications. Over the next five years, the ManTech Team will support the overall research and
development, engineering, integration, test and evaluation, sustainment, cybersecurity, and technical
support that the NAWC WOLF SCMS provides for communication and electronic systems. The
award of this contract will also enable MIL to expand our support for SCMS by delivering REPS
expertise to an ever-widening range of engineering and technical services.
                                    IV&V for Momentum upgrade

MIL was awarded a task under our existing Legislative Branch Financial Management System
(LBFMS) contract at the Library of Congress. MIL will develop and implement solutions for
independent verification and validation (IV&V) for the documentation, testing results, and current
functions and customizations for the Momentum upgrade. The Library and seven Legislative Branch
agencies use Momentum as the financial system of record. MIL will work to ensure that the software
development team’s system requirements are well-defined and consistent with the needs of LBFMS
stakeholders, that system functionality meets defined requirements, and that the system is compliant
with all applicable IT security requirements. We will also develop test plans, descriptions, and
reports necessary for completion of all IV&V services.
This effort was spearheaded by Bruce Corfield, VP of Federal Financial Services, and he will continue
to lead this work over the next year.

Thank you to the project and proposal teams that supported both of these opportunities—you are
the reason we are able to continue on our path to success!

        company news

MIL Employee Solutions—the chameleon of customer service

Over the past several months, MIL has joined millions of companies worldwide in reinventing how we do business with our customers
without exposing employees to the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic. While many of our employees were required to continue
reporting to government customer sites, many found unique ways to protect themselves and coworkers. Adaptation and mission-
forward seem to be words our employees take seriously. From working alternate days onsite, or occupying every other cubicle, to
leveraging software tools to connect with customer leads, MIL has demonstrated the tenacity and creativity necessary to meet or exceed
customer deliverables. One such major tool, Microsoft Teams, has been a huge hit in connecting face-to-face with team members
and government customer leads. Even before the rest of the world caught on to the collaborative and virtual features Teams offered,
employees like Jerome Roubieu, a member of the Cyber sector, began digging into the finer applications of Teams to create a virtual
repository for customer deliverables, project plans, and version-controlled files—all without risking information security breaches.
External government customers gained real-time access to the plans and files normally hosted and accessed while physically onsite
in the government buildings, but without anyone having to risk being exposed to the coronavirus. All of the creative solutions for
protecting our team members, coworkers, and customers are what makes MIL stand out among our peers!
