On the form BENJAMIN declared he was born “near Macon, in the County of
Bibb and State of Georgia; that he was 61 years of age, 5'10" tall, of dark
complexion, hazel eyes, auburn hair, was a farmer when he enlisted and was still
a farmer.
On October 24, 1888 BENJAMIN FRANKLIN FOY married NANCY ANN
PASSIONS CHOATE in Limestone County, Texas.
BANJAMIN FRANKLIN FOY died January 23, 1893 and is buried in Eutaw
Cemetery near Kosse Moss Springs, Texas. His surviving wife, NANCY ANN
PASSIONS CHOATE FOY, applied for and received a widows military pension.
There are surviving records to prove that.
