family had moved to Limestone County from Mississippi after experiencing
some problems but that is another story which will be told later.

BENJAMIN and MARY had three other children; all born in Limestone County,
Texas. They were named FRANCES ELVIRA, ELLA, and MARGARET.

FRANCES ELVIRA FOY was born March 25, 1873. ELLA FOY was born in
1874 and MARGARET (Maggie) was born January 26, 1877.

More will be said about some of these children later in this book as they married
and raised families, descendants of which still live in Texas.

On December 10, 1879 BENJAMIN FRANKLIN FOY purchased one hundred
ninety (190) acres of land near Kosse, Limestone County, Texas from PHEBE
BLACK for $1,140.00.
