those that read it and look at the pictures, it will seem unreal . I urge you, the reader, to help make the history we
write as accurate and complete as our memories, photos, and records can make it. Look this information over and advise
me of any information that is not true or is overlooked.
JOHN ELON FOY’s Marriages and Children:
John Elon Foy was married twice. His first marriage was to MARY McCOWN in Limestone County, TX, July 12, 1874.
According to his obituary printed March 19, 1943 this marriage produced six children. I can only account for five
children; the first five on the following list.
His second marriage was to EDNA LaUNIA VAN CLEAVE in Comanche County, TX on February 7, 1892. This union
produced nine children; the last nine on the following list:
