II, IDA C. FOY (1876-1893)

The only personal information we have regarding IDA comes from
notations in the family bible.

One notation lists her date of birth as March 9, 1876 (this notation is

obscured on my copy). There is a further notation to the side of this date
which may be the place she was born but it also is not legible). All
indications are that she was born in Limestone County, Texas. The 1880

census listed her with the family in Limestone County, Texas. Her age
was listed as 4.

The family bible notes she died March 8, 1893 at Brownwood, Texas.

McHORSE FOY brought to
the FOY family reunion a
box of photographs which
had been kept by her

mother for years. That box contained some real treasures. On the next
page is a photograph taken by a studio in Brownwood, Texas. When it was
taken is not known but on the back of the photograph one will see:
