According to my mother, Jean Elizabeth Foy Miller, the
woman in these photographs is Mary McCown, the first
wife of John Elon Foy, who was the mother of Minnie, Ida
C., Truman Frank, Alice Mae and Annie Foy.
The top photographs were in a collection of photos my
mother had. The third photo was in a collection of
photographs Dorothy Mae, Truman Frank’s daughter had.
Mary McCown allegedly married a wealthy man named
Parker following her divorce from John Elon Foy. They
lived in the Ft Worth/Dallas, TX area, however, I can find
no records of a divorce for John and Mary, a remarriage
for Mary or a death for Mary.
