programs and activities with other federal programs, and conduct other activities, such as
parent resource centers, that encourage and support parents in more fully participating
in the education of their children.
Through faculty meetings, professional development, grade level and vertical team
meetings, Princeton Alternative Elementary School works with faculty and staff to
successfully implement research-based, best practices on the importance of
increased parental involvement. Our goal is to enhance the academic programs and
achievement at Princeton through parental partnerships and participation in
academic planning and assessment.

parents will be encouraged to become equal partners in the education of their children.

To ensure effective involvement of parents and to support a partnership among the
school, parents, and the community to improve student academic achievement, our
school:

other activities is sent to the parents of participating children in a format and, to the
extent practicable, in a language the parents can understand.

Princeton Alternative Elementary School uses the districts family involvement
program as a resource to our parents. The school district's Parental Involvement
Department sends out information regarding the school districts' parent seminars
throughout the school year and provide parents with information relating to other
resources the department has to offer. 3- A member of Princeton Elementary
School's ILT team will serve in the role of Community Partner Liasion, to bridge the
gap in communication and stakeholder relationships.
