of the Title I Program (Note: State the school's process for how all Title I parents have the

At the annual parents' meeting at the beginning of the school year, parents are
presented with information about the school, the curriculum, and forms of
academic assessments used to measure students' progress. Parents learn about
the school's program and the following subjects taught: reading, math, language,
science, social studies, physical education, and music. They also learn how to
schedule parent teacher conferences and how they can participate in decisions
related to the education of their child. Parents, teachers, and the educational
leader's review the Birmingham City Schools System's Student/Parent Information
Guide (FIP-Family Information Planner), as well as our school's information, which
includes more detailed information on these topics and a copy of the Parental
Involvement Plan.

Funds allocated for parent involvement are used in for the purchase of Student
parent and student handbooks, improvement of attendance concerns (tardies) and
parent trainings when applicable.

information in a uniform format and, to the extent practicable in a language they can
understand, about programs under Title I, a description and explanation of the
curriculum in use, forms of academic assessments, and achievement expectations used,
and, if requested by parents, opportunities for regular meetings to formulate suggestions
and participate as appropriate in decisions related to the education of their children.
