Breaking the Curse of Poverty David K. Owusu
God literally compares your first fruit to the root of the tree and
the rest of the income as branches. If you spend the first fruits, its
similar to destroying the roots of the tree, which can eventually
kill the entire tree. However, if you give your first fruits to God,
it protects the roots of the tree, thus protecting the rest of your
income.
2. God drives away opposition from your work and businesses
“And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the first fruits
of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year’s
23
end. “Three times in the year all your men shall appear before
24
the Lord, the Lord God of Israel. For I will cast out the nations
before you and enlarge your borders; neither will any man covet
your land when you go up to appear before the Lord your God
three times in the year.
Exodus 34:22-24 (NKJV)
The Scripture says “For I will cast out the nations before you…”.
God will get rid of all opposing men and the enemy too.
3. God will enlarge your territory
The scripture in the book of Exodus 34:22-24 (NKJV)goes on to
state that the lord will “…enlarge your borders…” meaning God
will expand and enlarge your territory.
4. God will grant you supernatural provision of His blessings.
