                                                             SHAPED JARDINIÈRES AND STANDS

                                                             The lobed bodies carved with panels of scholars’ objects, antiquities,
                                                             flower vases and dishes of fruit on lotus spray and scrolling foliate
                                                             grounds, the stands with everted rims enclosing recessed bases
                                                             carved with swastika designs, supported by six scrolling legs and a
                                                             shaped apron, with formal lotus and linear designs, above a shaped
                                                             lower rail with lotus-petal lappets. 23.2cm (9 1/8in) wide. (4).

                                                             diam.; the box containing a yellow silk pad and a white jade reticulated
                                                             carving of conjoined bats, 3cm (1 1/4in) long, box. (4).
