A RARE PAIR OF CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL AND GILT-BRONZE
QUATREFOIL JARDINIÈRES
Qianlong
Each four-lobed oval vessel raised on four ruyi feet, the flaring sides
rising to a flat rim chased with lotus reserves, both ends set with a
high-relief lotus and acanthus-leaf loose-ring handle, the body brightly
enamelled in tones of lapis-blue and turquoise with lotus-blossom
cartouches beneath a chased key-fret border, each vessel containing a
fitted bronze lobed oval liner, possibly original. 25cm (9 7/8in) long. (4).

INCENSE BURNER AND COVER
Qianlong
The bowl of deep U-shape with flaring sides rising to an upright
rim with chased key-fret border, surmounted by a domed cover
culminating in a delicate four-petalled finial with pierced centre, each
decorated to the exterior with formal lotus on turquoise ground
and lapis-blue ruyi borders at the rims, the bowl supported on an
elaborate, reticulated stand comprising eight fixed scrolling leaves and
four detachable inset curling leaves, variously enamelled gilt, turquoise
and lapis-blue, all above a domed base in the shape of a lotus leaf.
25.7cm (10 1/8in) high (8).
