                                                                      The pendant is carved with an eagle perched on top of a
                                                                      recumbent bear. The stone is of an even white tone with a patch of
                                                                      pale russet tinge on the bear’s tail.

A FINE PAIR OF WHITE JADE BUTTERFLY-FORM

BELT BUCKLES

QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY

Each is carved in the form of a butterfly with finely detailed

widespread wings, the clasp on the underside pierced with small

flower buds and leaves. The stone is of an even, semi-translucent

milky-white tone.
