           DOUBLE VASE GROUP
           QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

           meticulously carved as an archaistic gu-form vase with a
           sinuous chilong clambering on its central section, its bifurcated
           tail wrapped around the vase and extending to the adjacent
           flattened baluster vase, facing a second recumbent chilong
           at the bottom, with scrolling ruyi-shaped clouds entwined
           between the two vessels, the stone of a creamy-white tone
           with dark grey highlights, wood stand
