The first of rock crystal, carved in flattened globular form with basket-
weave design, supported on a recessed base; the second of carnelian,
carved in a rounded rectangular shape, the sloping shoulders set with
lion mask and mock ring handles, all supported on a short oval foot
ring.

A FOSSILIFEROUS LIMESTONE SNUFF BOTTLE

Of flattened rounded form with a flat foot, cylindrical neck and wide
mouth, the beige stone with an irregular honeycomb pattern, each cell
enclosing a ‘starburst’ formed from coral remains.
