carved from spinach jade, wood stand.

A BLACK AND GRAY JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
1750-1820
Of shield shape, surmounted by a waisted neck with flat lip and
supported on a pedestal foot, each face similarly carved in low-relief
with a circular panel enclosing archaistic scrolls and motifs, flanked by
lion mask and mock ring handles on the shoulders, the greenish-gray
stone with cloudy black patches.
