The first of tapering dome shape with a tall cylindrical neck; the second
of cylindrical shape; both similarly painted with a pair of dragons
contesting a flaming pearl against a ground of peony blossoms and
leaves; the third of flaring cylindrical shape, painted with large peony
blossoms against a ground of small leaves; each foot with a six-
character Yongzheng mark.

SNUFF BOTTLE
1850-1900
Of cylindrical form, surmounted by a tubular neck with rolled rim,
supported on a circular foot ring, the sides painted with three immortal
youths on a log raft, one pulling a crab from the water, one reaching for
a spider and another playing with a bird, all followed by Liu Hai on his
toad, the foot marked with a circle in underglaze blue.
