                 stained bone.

             428	 A reddish-brown wood netsuke of a group of
                 fifteen tortoises, by Yôzan. Early 19th century
                 Partly climbing on top of each other amidst
                 waves, one tortoise detachable like the peg
                 of a manjû bearing an eyelet for the cord.
                 Signed Yôzan.
