A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE CARVING
OF A RAM
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The stone is carved in the form of a large recumbent ram with
curved horns, and its feet tucked underneath. The softly polished
stone has a pale greenish undertone and minor russet striations.
