QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The stone is carved as a crouching bear
with its arched back highlighted by russet
streaks. The white stone has some milky
inclusions and areas of russet, and there are
two holes for suspension.

RUSSET JADE carving of a
buffalo
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The animal is carved as a recumbent
horned buffalo, from a stone which is of a
deep celadon tone with russet striations.
