AN ELEGANT MUGHAL-STYLE SPINACH-GREEN JADE LOTUS-
FORM STAND, TAZZA
Circa 1900
Carved as an open lotus flower with bands of petals encircling the
center carved with circular 'seeds' emulating a lotus pod, all supported
on a pedestal base with two registers of lotus enclosed within stylized
reserve panels, the matrix of dark green hue with black inclusions and
icy white veins.
