A rare silver-inlaid bronze archaistic vase,
hu
18th century
Heavily cast and raised on a gently rounded
foot, the bulbous body and neck finely inlaid in
silver with five bands of stylised chilong amidst
archaistic scrolls between bands of twisted
ropes, the foot also inlaid with archaistic scrolls,
and the two simple handles similarly inlaid with
scrollwork.
