                    A bronze figure of a ‘qilin’ incense burner
                    18th century
                    The heavily cast two-horned mythical beast standing squarely with the
                    head turned to the left to look backwards with mouth wide open above
                    curling beard and mane, the body crisply cast with overlapping scales
                    and an incised saddle, each of the delicate hooves issuing fire scrolls
                    entwining around the legs.
