A relief-carved turquoise-glazed brushpot, bitong
Kangxi seal mark, 19th century
The brushpot moulded and with finely applied porcelain to create a
scene of a crane standing beside a lake turning its head to look at its
mate perched on the trunk of a pine tree beside rockwork, the rim lightly
stippled and the recessed base with the four-character seal, the sides
and recessed base covered with a light turquoise glaze reaching into the
interior.
