A blue and white ‘lotus’ bottle vase
Guangxu six-character mark and of the period
The rounded body painted in vivid blue with a continuous leafy
meander issuing six heavy blossoms above upright lappets and
classic scroll on the foot, the shoulder with a row of pendent
ruyi-head between moulded bands beneath a further floral
meander, the flaring neck with stiff lappets pointing upwards
beneath a band of waves at the mouth, wood stand.
