           A GREEN JADE ‘ROOSTER AND MILLET’ TOGGLE
           Qing Dynasty, 18th century
           Finely carved in the round depicting a bird with luxuriant feathers,
           its legs tugged under, the leafy plant carved in high relief draped on
           both sides of the beak, pierced from center back to between the feet
           to allow stringing, the stone in translucent olive green with spots of
           natural inclusion in dark brown.
           1 7/8in (4.7cm) long
