               The ‘prunus’ teapot of compressed five-lobed form rising from a floral
               foot, applique-decorated with smaller flowering prunus tree branches,
               the stoneware of a rich reddish-brown tone; the incised teapot finely
               potted in the form of a persimmon fruit, inscribed and sealed on one
               side, the other carved with a floral spray, the underside of the cover
               with an impressed kaishu mark, the base with a pictorial mark with a
               four-character inscription.
               21.2cm (8 3/8in) wide; 22.5cm (8 7/8in) wide (4).

               A large yixing stoneware ‘overhead-handled’
               incised teapot and cover
               Republican period, signed Tiehua Xuan
               The body incised with a series of xingshu inscriptions on one side and
               a bunched floral spray at the opposite, set with a curved spout and an
               arched handle at the shoulders, the short straight neck surmounted by
               a flat cover and a barbed knop, the stoneware of a dark brown tone.
               23.3cm (9 1/8in) wide (2).
