               東周時,周天子的勢力漸衰,長江流域楚國迅速茁壯,遠古華東「物精
               崇拜」及深厚的「崇璧文化」再度復興。湖北、湖南、安徽是楚文化的
               核心地帶,不詳何處被發現草綠色的閃玉玉礦,楚人用之製作體量甚大
               的穀紋璧,如此件玉璧,及玉穀紋璜(見本場拍賣拍品 2732 號)。比較
               養德堂舊藏形制風格類似但較大的一件楚式穀紋璧(21.7 公分),2017
               年 11 月 29 日於香港佳士得拍賣,拍品 2777 號。
