A SMALL SILVER-INLAID BRONZE
MYTHICAL BEAST-FORM WATER
DROPPER
MID-QING DYNASTY
The water dropper is in the form of a three-legged mythical beast,
the spout resembles the head of a ram-like beast with a single horn,
the body inlaid in silver with taotie masks surrounded by archaistic
spirals, the handle attached with a hinged cover surmounted by a
bird-form finial.
