               A SMALL SILVER-INLAID BRONZE
               MYTHICAL BEAST-FORM WATER
               DROPPER
               MID-QING DYNASTY
               The water dropper is in the form of a three-legged mythical beast,
               the spout resembles the head of a ram-like beast with a single horn,
               the body inlaid in silver with taotie masks surrounded by archaistic
               spirals, the handle attached with a hinged cover surmounted by a
               bird-form finial.

               清中期   銅錯銀瑞獸形硯滴

               此硯滴配有紫檀錯銀座子。清宮舊藏一件造型幾乎相同的例子,同樣斷
               代清中期,現藏北京故宮博物院,著錄於故宮博物院藏文物珍品大系《文
               玩》,上海,2009 年,頁 193,圖版 180 號(圖一)。
